Well, long time not update my blog and not writing story in my blog. Now, I just wanna share my experience when I watched State Final Football game between my School, Lincoln High School Sioux Falls with Roosevelt High School Sioux Falls.
Actually, I'm not even really interesting with American football because, beside i never playing American football, i'm not really understand the rule in the American football. But, i'm really curious with American football because, this such as a big deal for all American people to watch their football. Especially in thanks giving day and Super Bowl match. They usually have a party for a big football game. but, this is different with NFL game. This is a high school state football game which kind a very prestigious tittle for high school to showing their class and quality in sport. Whichever can become a football champion, that's school gonna be a favorite school in that city or in that state.
That's day I was busy with helping my host family painting and cleaning the house. I heard all my friends gonna go to the Dakota Dome in Vermilion to watch the game and I really wanna go there. But, i don't have a ride and all my friends are going with their friends. So, I try to call all my friends and finally I got a ride from my friend in Latin class. She pick me up around 6 pm and we go together to the dome. I we share a lot of story and she kind a interesting with Indonesia.
After 1 hour driving to Vermilion, we arrived at the dome and i just go to the ticket kiosk. The ticket price for the student is $6. The game start exactly at 7.30 pm. Lincoln looked got pushed by the opponent. The supporter keep screaming, screaming and screaming to support their school. We lost 21 - 3 until the end of 2nd Period.
After the half game break, Lincoln control the game and give counter attack to the opponent. In the third period Lincoln make 3 Touchdown and break the opponent's mental. In the fourth period, Lincoln make 2 Touchdown and make them claimed the State Football Champion tittle.
It was awesome how football become the part of American life. In fact, in the super bowl day, they have a holiday for the worker so, they can have a super bowl party and watch the super bowl game. I'm really glad can know more about American football and become part of the supporter to support my school that's night. What a wonderful experience...
